Fall is here (pics)

Went for a ride around the block & took some shots. I'd rather it was a sunny day, but the weather still contributed to some nice scenes.

Actually, the 4th image is from a few miles away, overlooking a northern area of my school district. I took my son & his fiance out for a ride so we could pick up some squash for them to take back (and other produce.) Lots of acorn, butternut, buttercup, New Zealand blue, pink banana squash, and others; $1 each (or 75 cents for the smaller ones.)

I think we're getting there, but it was rainy here all weekend. We were going to head to Bar Harbor for the weekend and didn't because there was too much to do around the house. Good thing, I suppose.

I'm jealous, Doc...that's about the only thing I miss about the east...the fabulous fall colors.
We get some decent color changes here in the fall...but nothing to rival what you folks get.

fucking beautiful! Nothing but oak trees near me, they just turn brown and the leaves die 🙁

Really? I remember oaks turning nice colors in the fall...before they turn brown.

I'd rather it was a sunny day...

Some of my absolute favorite days are the overcast fall days. Just cool enough for a long sleeve t-shirt. The sun isn't glaring in your eyes, the air feels a bit crisper and everything seems just a little more serene.

*Sigh* I already miss those 30 C days I hated when I had to spread eagle on my chair trying to stay cool.

Now my ass is cold.

lots of fall colours here, too.

I am not far from Dr.Pizza's climate zone, so our rural areas look very similar.

I should see about getting some cool pics. Lots of maples around here, but the Norway ones are crappy.
