Hey Heather, I wish I had some of those trees. I just moved into a newer subdivision and I miss not having all those trees.

Take care.

quackagator - Heh, yeah right. The most that people will do around here is if they have a lawn, they might rake them or mow over it. We're in the woods, so most leaves stay where they fall. lol

Mik3y - Eep! I dunno. I haven't seen any old looking women with caldrons around. I'll keep an eye out, though! :Q

EDIT: I forgot to reply to the rest. :p

tami - Thanks, hon!

sundog - Thank you! I LOOOOOVE red hair.

LolaWiz - It's VERY windy here and it's been raining off and on. We still have lots of leaves on trees. I keep meaning to take my camera with me when I'm out because there's a spot on the way home where you can see a lot of trees and the leaves are beautiful. :)

Squisher - I have a few I can ship to you. ;) I don't think I'll ever get to where I'm not awestruck by the beauty of living where we are. Sorry you don't get to see it any more. :(

My fiance used to live in Luray. We're in Front Royal. We live not too far from Skyline Drive. :D

I'm extremely jealous. You guys live in one of the most beautiful areas of the country.

Yeah, I'm from California and even with having lived right next to the ocean on the Central Coast, I still love being here. I moved here just a month after visiting HayZeus 2000. I was ready for a change and I fell in love with Virginia.

I'm in south Florida. "Autumn" in these parts means the day time temp drops to around 82. Shiver. . .
By the way, HazelBabe, nice looking piece of property. Just curious. Nothing like that can be had around here. Hell, a 1,500 square foot house on a 70 X 100 lot, in need of work, in an area where you couldn't let your kids attend public school, runs around $400K. I'm over it. I'm looking for greener pastures, which is why I'm asking. What might I be able to buy your house for??

I have NO idea. Seriously. I've never done any kind of drug other than my prescriptions. Not even marijuana. I always notice that my eyes are bloodshot every time I put on makeup. *Shrug* Who knows. :(

Right now, it's probably around $190,000 or $200,000 or maybe higher. Our house is one of the older ones built here on the mountain. So newer ones start at over $300,000. We have two lots and sit on just over an acre.

EDIT:

Zim - Yup. I couldn't stay brown for too long. I love the red. :)

Ohio is beautiful, too! Unfortunately I don't have a camera suitable for taking digital pics. :( Might borrow a friend's camera or something... there are some BEAUTIFUL areas around here. Much like in your area. ;)

Here are three pictures that I took from our front deck.

Our driveway covered in leaves.

Dang hon, it's hard to even tell your driveway is there... it's easier to tell when it's covered in snow!

I wish I could come down some time... I want to see some of the scenery. ;) I saw snow, this time leaves sound interesting. :p

Of course I had to match some of the leaves.

(Instead of brown, I'm back to red, baby!)

In front of our fireplace.

Uh...same place.

See? I match!

Happy fall everyone. (Hmmm, the season. Please don't fall down!)

Lookin' awesome, as always! :D

Nice pix!

Yeah I finally made it home (been away since January!) and missed summer here. (MD-DC area)

Fall is definitely my fav time of the year. I wish they could move x-mas to July or something. :p
