I'm looking to get some new tires on soon as the BFGoodrich Touring T/A's on the car right now SUCK. I've read good things about the ZE-512's, and they're relatively cheap..Traction T/A's are pretty good too from what I hear (I bought them for my sisters car a while back), but will be ~$60/more for a set.

Basically, i'm looking for a sporty tire with good grip in rain/snow. Cheap price is a plus.

I have the 512s on a heavy RWD car. They're great in summer and rain. However, in my experience they do generate noticeable road noise (if that kind of thing bothers you). I don't know how they handle in snow as I put Blizzaks on my car in winter.

Dunno about snow (what's snow? haha), but they are sensational in the road noise, grip, and comfort departments for the price. Have put them on my parents' Forester, Jag, Hyundai Elantra, and my own 3-series. Great wet/dry performance for the buck. Only complaint would be treadlife, but any remotely performance-minded tire with soft, grabby rubber like the Ziex would take a hit in that dept. anyway.

Consumer Reports rated the 512's very highly. My buddy put them on his Avalon and loved them. I had the Falken Azenis on my Sentra SE-R and once those wore out, I got the 512. I really liked them. (Ended up selling the SE-R shortly there after...)

I have it on my Accord too. I have not notice any road noise yet. Hard to be the price of 4 tires for $200 plus installation.

I'll need to buy tires for my town car before too long. What's a good tire for this (noise is my biggest concern, and I'd like a whitewall/stripe on it)?
