Fake (?) Win10 KB4497165 Intel Microcode Update 2020-01 being pushed to Ryzen PCs? Exploit?

Just did "Check for Updates", on my Win10 1909 64-bit Pro, Ryzen R5 3600 rig, and besides a "Security Intelligence Update", suddenly, this was showing, and asking for a reboot.

It was also dated 2020-01 (Jan 2020). It's May 2020. If I had needed this update, why didn't it come through back then? And why would I need an Intel Microcode update on a Ryzen PC?

Something's not right here, and I smell an exploit.

Look at the last five posts in this thread, a couple of people with AMD systems, received the "Intel Microcode Update". Not sure what's up with that.

This just got pushed to my AMD Thuban PC too, WTF???

The update went through to all of my PCs, which two of them are AMD systems.

I really wouldn't worry about it, as I haven't noticed any issues with it. You can always uninstall it if you want.
