Well, i'll give him a pass for faking being disabled (if true). He could have just sat there and did nothing, and this girl could have been the next abduction/murder case.

Where does it say he's faking anything. It's not a stretch to believe a paraplegic could throw himself out of his chair and grab someone's legs as they were running by. I have a friend who is paraplegic and he can throw himself out of his chair into the front seat of a car without problems.

Apparently Fox modified the article. It originally stated the man was now being investigated for disability fraud.

I wouldn't give him a pass for being faked disabled if true. I might give him a break in punishment because of his good deed, but beyond that, I'd want to see him back to work if he's not disabled. Fraud sucks money out of the system for people genuinely disabled.

its not like he was claiming he couldnt use his legs at all. odds are when he fell from the roof eh messed up his back/hips enought o make walking long distance's very painfull and hard. But seeing what happened being in pain few days is worth it.

As a T-5 para for the last 35 years that is how I get in to my car, though I prefer the verb "transfer". It's also how I get in and out of bed, on and off the toilet, in and out of the bathtub on and off a couch etc etc.
