uh.... what is fake about it?

According to Newegg the Celeron D 320 is 2.4 GHz with:
533 FSB
256 KB L2 Cache
Socket 478
Serial Number: BX80546RE2400C

The proc you have pictured is:
Celeron D at 2.4 GHz (same as above)
533 FSB (same as above)
256 KB L2 Cache (same as Above)
Socket 478 (same as above)
Serial Number: BX80546RE2400C SL87J

Or is it that the Box is all messed up?? IN which case I think you need to talk to the shipping company.... or have you tried putting the chip in your comp and it comes back as not as advertised....smaller cache, lower FSB or the like?

UPC Database Entry
UPC-A
Description Intel(R) Celeron(R) D Processor 320, 478 pin 2.40 GHz 256KB Cache, 533 MHz FSB
Size/Weight Reza Fakhrnia
Manufacturer Intel Corporation (735858)

UPC code lookup info above. I'd spend my time faking an EE before a Celeron:confused:

Uh, I'm pretty sure that is just ambiguity with the font. Why don't you try running it before you declare it fake.

I could say the same to you... look at the P in UP only... it is also rounded off is almost every other letter that is small... if you look at the serial number it is fine but that is because the font size is larger.... So uh.... I can see fine... how about you?

Actually, I think it's a question of time until the market will be flooded with counterfeit computer components... There are a few countries out there that whave the necessary technology, know-how and balls to do so...

Costs billions to make your first chip..hard to recoup that kinda cost in the "black market" with the man on your tail.

Most likly

a) these are re-packaged lower end chips
b) stolen though back door
c) Grey OEM sold as retail
d) OP is embelishing.
