Fake emails from Facebook friends

Been getting emails from Facebook friends list linked to malware sites or work at home sites, has happened 3-4 times over the last week, looks like someone has devised a way to harvest everyone's friends list and the send out emails with infected links, is this something new?. Also 2 days ago Facebook sent me an email asking to verify that I wanted to chance my password, I hadn't asked to change my password so I let them know that immediately. I'm at the point of just deleting my Facebook account to avoid the amount of scumbags looking for ways to exploit it..

LOL, that was cool as hell, lemme tell you about a prank I pulled on a co-worker one day, she was a bartender at a restaurant we both worked at, I often hung out at the bar after work, she went on a vacation to Wisconsin for a week, on her first day back to work I was just leaving the employee door when I saw her boyfriend in the parking lot, he had just dropped her off. I asked him for details about her dad's home there then went back inside to the bar, I told her I had a dream about her while she was gone then went into detail about the house, the stream that ran by it in the backyard, the make and color of her dad's car, the street name and so on, OMFG she was shocked and was completely convinced I was a true clairvoyant person, finally about 1/2 hr in I told her the secret about my "clairvoyance", she was pissed as hell at first but we both got a good laugh about it later on..
 
There Is a old trick of sending spams on facebook... Anyone can send a fake mail on your mail-Id Or a meesage on your facebook profile just by knowing your email-id and facebook-id respectively.... In case of facebook they shows a yellow triange indicating that they are unable to determine the actual sender...
what you can do is -- you can change your facebook id and than hide it from the info section of your facebook profile

I just need to close my facebook account altogether, hackers have ruined it and CL, shame..
