My post was sarcasm. I wasn't advocating bashing other people. I was sarcastically pointing out that Christians receive more bashing than any other 'group' on these forums.

I agree with what you posted. I don't claim to be perfect and following it all the time.

Yes, I've pointed out to others that we should expect the world to hate Christians. That, too, was predicted 2000 years ago.

I'm 35 years old. I was raised in a Pentecostal home, at least by my mother. I HATED everything to do with God, religion and the church up until a year and 2 months ago.

Then I surrendered. I totally, and utterly surrendered my life over to a Father I had spent most of it running from. I did this of my own volition, without being pushed or having it shoved down my throat.
You know what, as far and as hard as I ran from HIM, all he had to do was call me when the time was right.
And I answered.

My life is by no means easier, it is if anything harder now. But I thank God that he loved me enough to still want me even after all I had done to dishonor HIM. Thats the God I love and willingly serve.

The OP cannot and will not, for that is purely a matter of faith and belief, with nothing else to back it up with.

Science is king. We live by our senses, what we can see, hear, touch, feel. There seems to be no room for anything else.

Why is this bad? Do you feel it's better to make up a bunch of sh!t to make you feel good?

Assuming you meant that seriously, no. Having faith in Christ as the resurrected Savior will lead to eternal life in Heaven after your Earthly death.

Well very well. I don't presume to know much about any religion. I did go to a few sunday schools when I was a kid (both catholic and protostant) but I never kept the faith. But then again, no one in my family is too religious, except my born again twin sister.
