Fairchild Semi: who/how to contact?

I want to get an intern postition @ fairchild, but I dunno who I should contact. They have a few mailing addresses and I can e-mail a few other places, but I don't know what is the best way to contact them.

Their HQ is only a 30 minute drive from my house, should I just drive down there and ask them, or should I contact them another way?

Fairchild still makes quite a bit of electronic components and it's sold in a lot of places like Mouser, Digikey etc.

I've bought alot of their stuff before, though most of the stuff I've seen that they make is far from cutting edge...
