FOX News poll on their main page:

What best describes your view of President Bush's decision to permit Condoleezza Rice to testify before the 9/11 Commission?

He got bullied by his opponents and caved in for political reasons
He is very wise to change his mind. Her testimony is important.

I worry that presidents will not be able to get candid advice in the future
I think this issue is "much ado about nothing"
None of the above

Where's the option for "Rice is a tool"?

Curiously,

20% say he caved.
22% say he's wise . . . HAHAHAHAHAHA.
40% say it's much ado about nothing.

Wow. There are better worded polls, more professsional and with less built in bias, in ATOT. :disgust:

It's just an entertainment poll. It doesn't claim to be scientific. What's your point?

All most people care about is not feeling odd. As long as a lot of other nuts think like them they feel fine. As long as something like a fox news supports their point of view and seems to defend it they can stay asleep in the center of the fold chewing their cud. The TV was always a danger to the insular hillbilly rupublican backbone because it brought them damn city folk and their holistic thinking into the home shaking every body up. Them damn edumacated folk are a menace to sleep.

personally I don't see anything wrong per say with the questions, at least when compared to other net polls, especially those on CNN...

Conjur I think you are just biased against Fox News and are looking for anything to slam them on..overall, while the options are "dumbed down" in their wording, from a substance standpoint I see nothing *wrong* with the poll...you may be referring to the partisan bias, but again CNN, ABC, NBC and all of the other news networks generally word their polls so that they favor leftist opinions, check out a few and you will see.

I'd rather you provide an example of a leftist bias poll from CNN to support your claim, so we can accurately evaluate your allegation.

I am not biased against FOX News. I call them as I see them. Back in the election fiasco of 2000, FOX News fit in with my views at the time. They were rather pro-Bush then and I supported Bush then.

Now that mounds of evidence have surfaced Bush and his administration have fouled up BIG time in deceiving us into going to war in Iraq, FOX News still finds ways to bash any anti-Bush viewpoint. Esp. FOX and Friends. That's one big GOP circle-jerk in the morning.

These are the same bunch of nutbags that chastized the Simpsons for making fun of them. When are they going to admit having their heads so far up Bush's butt we can get a report on his colon 24x7.

I don't understand why some of you guys keep posting this Fox crap - are you expecting a cookie for spotting their rightward bias?

Nope...just tired of the ever-present spewing that the media is liberally biased.

Also tired of hearing the term liberal used as a derogatory term (as in the title of Sean Hannity's newest ego-booster...er....book.)

Much like you flaming liberals use the word "wealthy" as a derogatory word?

I don't know, I always use "conservative" -- rather than "Just how far up your arse is that big stick?" I know the mods appreciate that. :)
