What is the Palestinian homeland? Jordanian land? British land? Turkish land? They never had their own land, it was ALWAYS ruled by others. I agree this attack was not terrorism. It's war. If they want to fight a war instead of targeting civillians, I think most Israelis would actually welcome it at this point.

i just wanted you to know that my opinions stem from my studies of middle eastern politics and history while in college - some 10+ courses pertinent to the subject. at the time i was forced to read quite a few books. just browsing at the dusty books on my shelf, among them:

Barnett, Michael. Dialogues in Arab Politics
Hourani, Albert. The Modern Middle East
Springborg, Robert. Politics in the Middle East
Hourani, Albert. A History of Arab Peoples
among many others.

i would like to hope that before you call me an asshat for not knowing history you've done some reading yourself and can provide me with this "history lesson" you are talking about.

i particularly recall Charles Smith's book as very comprehensive and detailed and recommend it to you if you have not read it yet.
