failed cdr burns

ive been trying to burn cds with my combo aopen drive newegg just received back from newegg after having it RMA'd because it just died :-\. Ive tried to burn two cds and got the same error. Unspecified target error . cds burn perfectly on the nec dvd burner. any help with what the problem is. logs included

not all media are compatible with all burner, keep that in mind thought. some prefer quality some prefer generic over quality ones
 
i use the same media before. i usually cheap ESA/CMC from CC and they burn fine. i also have some Verbatim and it failed wit the same error. i burned the same media with the drive i rma'd with no problems, and if it was media compatible problem it would of been power calibration error msg.
