FAH: Added another machine

Well, It was some nasty business, but I have this P2-300 on my work desk running OS/2. Unfortunately, for the development support I do, I have to keep this box running OS/2, and don't want to get into a dual boot mode. Soooo........

Hearkening back to some of my olden times, I remembered about project Odin, which I still kind of keep touch on the periphery. Decided to give the Console mode a try under Odin. And you know what: After a few false starts, it appears that FAH2console.exe is kickin'. It managed to download Core_65.exe, and then grab a proteinA, Run 19 (Clone 53, Gen16). It looks like it's folding it. I will keep track to make sure that progress is actually being shown. If this actually works, then I might just bring in my spare Celeron 400 I have @ home and upgrade this machine 🙂😀🙂......
(This is a Compaq Deskpro, so I'm not even sure it will take the 400, but I might just give it a try)

For those who might wonder, Odin is a project that provides a Win9x type API/emulation/bridging layer on top of OS/2. It started out with some crude stuff that would require you to "patch" a windows executable, but they have advanced to a more sophisticated stage, where you can run a few Win9x apps right out of the box, no intervention required. Pretty cool stuff, really....... (The equivalent of wine, but for OS/2)
