FAFSA Question...

Is it necessary to provide all the tax information for me as a dependant?

I've lost track of my copies from this year and will have to send in for a copy from the IRS if necessary...

Is there anyone that has filled it out without that information?? IE: No job, etc...

well I'm not a dependant, if you're living with parents/etc idk if you have to fill it out. I didn't fill any of that stuff, only the information for my mom's income.

I would fill in everything as best you know how...if you leave questions blank, they will mail it back to you saying they won't process it without the info, thus delaying your application. If I were you, I'd contact the financial aid office of the school that you are attending (or to which you are applying). I know, I know, most people in college financial aid offices are fairly incompetent, but I think they'd be able to help you more than random people on an internet message board. 😉

Good luck! 🙂

I'm also a dependent but filled out the tax information. Don't they use that in part to determine your financial aid? I would think it's a good idea to get the info and fill it out.
