Hi folks,

Been awhile since the last status report. The hordes are on the brink of great possibilities.

At the present time:

The Blue Horde (St. Louis) consists of 81 nodes ... I am rarely able to keep more than 70 active at any time. I must work on that situation. An expansion of 26 nodes is likely within a month. I am hopeful that I can average above 100 active nodes all the time ...

The Golden Horde (St. Charles) consists of 17 nodes which have about 100% uptime.

My plans include bringing a new horde as yet unnamed online. This may occur within a couple of days. It would only be about 13 nodes but they would be quality nodes (fast processors).

I am sensing that MsMadiso is growing short of breath and long of tooth. The hordes have been patiently waiting for the opportunity to feast on fresh meat (road kill) ... I believe that detailed plans for an extravagant barbecue are being drawn up by the hordes as we speak.

The hordes are restless for new conquests. The khan is growing wary of the politics of the commanders in the hordes. The future remains to be written. The Khan remains confident but the road is long and riddled with obstacles ...

I have a few scurrilous machines as well. (mainly leftover parts after upgrades)
I did find a 950 TBird processor yesterday though.
Maybe I'll find a mobo sitting in a box somewhere that I can mount it on.

Good luck with the new Hordes Mondo....:)

Thanks for the encouragement ... I DO look forward to new conquests from the new, as yet, "unnamed" horde(s) ... perhaps it will become a reconstituted "White Horde" ... and that (those) horde(s) will lead the current hordes to future highs not envisioned at the present time ...
