FaD Stats Will Be Delayed Until Wednesday

I had a disk failure on Friday evening. Thus, I can not access the database or the scripts I use to generate the stats and will not be able to produce stats until I recover them or build them again :-(

I have run PowerMax and now have a drive which received a Diagnostic code and is to be RMA'd. I want to try and get data off it first though.... I can tell this is going to be a fun week.

Ouch sorry to hear that, guess we will just have to hack thru it on the FaD site for stats.

I lost a drive about 3 months ago, with 2 years accounting data... Yea, no good backup. Just paper. Went to get it recovered at a disk place, heck they wanted 3,500 bucks. I just hired someone to re-enter what was needed. Hope you have a backup or remember most of your scripts.

Thanks for the stellar efforts you do.

I was considering the recovery route... but $3500 is not worth it for me either.

What started out as one of the worst weekends of my life just got a lot better!

After running PowerMax on each drive and PowerMax identifying one as RMA material and fixing errors on the other drive on two seperate executions... I was able to boot my PC and copy all of the data off of the drives... I currently only have the data on one hard drive but you can be assured I will have a backup on a second hard drive before I sleep tonight 😉

Depending on how well the reinstalls go I may be in a position to generate the stats tomorrow for today.
