FaD Stats - Nov 28, 2004

Thanks for the stats guys.
You finally got me in the weekly average Geoff, of course my work machine has been down for two days and several others at home was down while I've ripped up the carpet in those rooms the last 3 days.

Amdandtech ... needs to find a couple more "sugar daddies" that will contribute enough points so that I will not be missed if my production declines some ...

Ram should arrive this week... could mean up to 3 new crunchers... again, nothing spectacular, but they crunch just the same! 🙂

I'm glad to be back! I don't know if I can give you a run for your money Mondobyte, but I'll give it all I've got 🙂 I have a 2.4 Xeon workstation that was down for the holiday break but I'll bring that one back up along with another couple ~2.8 Ghz desktops in the next couple of days. A couple thousand points here and there never hurt 😉

Ross: I just must have had a big dump of points there, I think I'll be fluctuating 2nd & 3rd place with you quite a bit unless I can just scrape up a few more machines...hmmm... 🙂

I look forward to the challenge. Wish there were more "Ladies in waiting" as it were. (no slur intended - just an expression).

I am also looking forward to improving the quantity/quality of my Hordes. A prediction for the NEW YEAR - beginning immediately - an increase the quantities of newer/bigger/faster/better computers as well as upgrades to the existing hordes.

I have some expectations to increase the contributors to the Hordes by Christmas.

I have a large number of "Alter EGOs" crunching FaD. -- I will move these into the Hordes as opportunity presents ... These "alter EGOs" will add a significant processing capacity and points accumulation to the hordes.

The biggest problem is the naming convention for all these Hordes ... I am quickly exhausting the "historically correct" names. Any suggestions?

I don't need to say this but ... when the names are integrated ... the results should be apparent.

ahhh... didn't mean to pry... I thought you were talking about how you have your network segmented... can't really help with new names if we don't know the existing names! 😛

Many of the links don't work yet as they needs reworking from the originals, however the daily load seems to be correct.. currently going to do that just once/day and will change that to 4/day once I iron out all the other stuff. Also, I think I'll be changing many of the stats pages once I get the working to reflect more of the information that you guys are used to seeing 🙂
