I am going to try and produce the stats three times a week now. Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Welcome to our newest member Heidis Toy

kmoney56 is on a role and has quickly climbed to the second highest producer!

The following teams have moved up the ranking ladder since the last stats:

Thanks for the stats Ross! I'd have to bring our whole datacenter up on FaD to get the points dringdahl is bringing in...that's pretty serious crunchin' ! 🙂

Thanks Ross!

dringdahl: Yeah, that's due to mondobyte leaving Team XPC.

Havent heard back from him if he is going to move over to us. Hoping so... 😉

I also hope he moves over. It would be a huge bump for the TeAm, and also I suspect he would spark some interesting conversation and discussion. This place could use a little livening up sometimes.

Unfortunately, since I now have 2 of 6 Knoppix boxes refusing to run Think (segmentation fault), their power is being used for F@H.

About to get ahold of another 16 node cluster of dual Xeons for the 4th weekend that will be 46 dual xeons for 4 days... 🙂

Here's to hoping that I can make IT overlord at a good-sized company after graduating from college and have full control over computer policy (or at least bosses that can understand DC being a good thing).

Must be that new math they're teaching, but how does cluster of 16 dual Xeons equal 46 Xeons? Or are the other 14 CPUs what are you already running?

Actually I have 21 servers running during non-biz hours (6pm-9am) All Dual either Opteron 240s or Xeon 3ghz, plus another 16 dual Xeons coming on line 24/7 for 5 days. Total CPUs 74, but running 2 copies of FaD on each of the Xeons to take advantage of the Hyperthreading. This doesnt include the 10-15 desktops running it.

🙂 It's good to be a super geek... <Just kidding> I am using these machines to crunch interest rates during office hours.

Should see a big jump in our team stats between now and Tuesday. Most will go away after tuesday though... 🙁
