The problem has been identified, and we are actively working on a resolution. There is no impact to user data or functionality, this is strictly a front-end display issue. The only questions is WHICH DC project should be running on the stats box... I may be biased, but I believe FaD would be an excellent choice. By default it will take advantage of the dual CPUs and will also not use CPU when it is required by other apps.

My provider is TDS Metrocom(they've been very good to me), I had them check the DSL line(yeah, redundant, sorta like NIC card) 😉 ... anyway, they report it IS up and they can PING the modem/router; however, the internal DHCP server is still fubar'd, so I'm going to try another DSL modem and turn on DHCP in one of my servers for the time being until I can get a replacement.

My hordes are waning ... at peak ... hmm perhaps I had between 125 to 150 nodes running (maybe more). At a certain point ... numbers of nodes processing becomes indistinct. Any day, I might have a several dozen nodes offline. I use the term nodes instead of machines because many of the machines are multiple processor or HT or both which results in multiple nodes per machine. There are machines that are running FaD that I have not "visited" in person ... ever. I remotely installed the client and it runs as a service. So ... the technique is "find" the machine, "FaD" it, ... and "forget" it. (of course, with the written permission of the owner).
I've "idled" at least 80 nodes about 3 weeks ago and most will not return to the hordes in the near future. What is left is still "crunching" steadily but there are a lot of slow computers in the mix. I'll be "idling" another segment of nodes in the next month or so. As I recover from my situation, I may be able to bring those machines back online but that is probably months away.
At a certain "level" of production the numbers kinda blur into an average points per day of output that is pretty consistent. I know that it sounds like a pretty cavalier approach but ... hey ... all fact -- no brag.

Very nasty "crap" ... much nastier than I would have ever anticipated.
The mend is slow ... but I am on the mend, I believe, ... at this point.
Cannot express how disappointed I am with my current situation. This was unexpected!
We all pick an choose our battles but this one was certainly one I would not choose to do again.
