Thanks for the Stats, Ross & Goeffs !!!
I have returned after a Christmas rest. Seems Santa brought me some lumps of coal ... or some semblance thereof: One of my XP2400+ computers, apparently, has a fried power supply -- board boots up fine with another PSU (wrong form factor - drat!) so I believe it is only the PSU that turned to carbon this time. Another computer came up lame with bad video memory in the embedded nVidia video.
Time to buy a new PSU and time to RMA that mobo so I'll be down a couple computers for awhile.
I had every intention of putting together three other computers that are sitting in pieces herebouts ... and wouldn't you just know ... no round tuit in sight. Wished Santa had brought me that ... a round tuit.
On the lighter side ... I spent the whole Christmas holiday in close proximity to my wonderful girlfriend (and wife too!). Besides having a wonderful wife, the house is warm, there is plenty of food, my cats are great friends and companions, I still have a working broadband Internet connection and at least one operational computer! Life is great! What else could I wish for that I don't have. Oh ... yeah ... that pesky PSU and an RMA'd mobo ... but that's easy enough to fix.
Happy Holidays one and all!
