FaD Stats - Aug 10, 2004

Thanks. 🙂

Although, I do have to say that FaD is one of the most annoying programs. It just doesn't like to stay put. 🙂

For instance, if I minimize it, it will pop back up after a while... or if I exit out of the program, yup, give it about 10 minutes and it pops back up. Did I just install it differently or is this normal? When I close a program, I want the damn thing to stay closed.

I have noticed some good though: when my laptop stats up on battery, FaD already knows not to start up, which is nice.

Does this happen all the time or just today? The only reason I ask is that a new release of the beta is in the wild and an autodownload of the beta forces the client to stop and then restart... maybe this was it???

I definetly have not experience the reopenning which you describe. I also hit hide then never see it again.

Same here, I hit hide and thats it.

My version is:

Think v1.24g
10-Aug-04
Build 43

I'm not seeing a hide, but I can select the checkmark for graphics... oh, I see now, when I click the X close in the corner it gives me the options to exit, resume, or hide. Its when I exit that, after a time, it restarts. I usually put it to sleep now if I want it to stay put. This is just for times when I want all my processing power for a selected task (such as playing a game, etc.).

Its just a little misleading to me, because it says that exit will stop Think from processing, and it does, but only for a small time.
