FaD Stats - April 28, 2004

Welcome to our newest member LastKnight.

I am going to try the new "Attach Code" functionality for these stats. It means that stats are aligned perfectly without any additional work for me, which is the hardest and longest part of the stats generation. On the downside, it means you will have to scroll for some of the stats. To reduce the scrolling I will post each set of stats as a seperate reply.

Let me know if you are willing to live with the new "Attach Code" view.

Here we go!

The following teams have moved up the ranking ladder since the last stats.

My bad, i had a wrong number in the team number thts why i haven't shown up. Quick question, i have a comp that i want doing this but i only connect it to the internet once a week. I put the Find a drug program on it and accidentaly hit something and now the Control Panel says"Offline". I can't figure out how to switch it back to online.
Will it have enough work for a week without having to connect and get more work?? What should i set connection schedule to??

Thanks for your help, i searched their site but didn't find this info.🙁

As for having enough jobs for a week... probably not. If you click "Receive" in the Job Queue Server you can "cache" as many jobs as you want.

I believe BCinSC does the sneakernette thing w/ Think. Perhaphs he can share some of his experiences w/ you and how many jobs he tends to cache.

As for the control panel saying "OffLine", you can try executing think.lgo in your startup folder and see if that helps. If that does not help... when in doubt reboot 🙁

Ok, one more question. I have 2 computers crunching. The first computer i put in my e-mail and nickname. The second computer i did the same and it says someone is already using it. So how do i get both computers to register points under 1 nickname. I don't want to have 2 different names in the stats.

Thanks again for the help:beer:

Lorne;

I've installed FaD on a number of machines in my basement and each time I just enter my e-mail and nickname the same as before. I would check to make sure you've got the e-mail correct, as I suspect that this is what FaD uses to track stats and not the nickname.

Thanks for the help, i doublechecked the e-mail and nickname and they are the same. I will upload a job from it and see if it shows up under my nickname🙂

I have done the axact same thing on several boxes, approx. 8, and it has worked everytime.
