Hi, all...I've decided to switch my crunching power(a grand total of one AXP 2000+ :p ) over from F@H to FaD. This computer runs linux most of the daylight hours, and gets turned off during the night. So, after browsing the forums for a bit, I have been unable to find an install guide for linux. Would anybody be so kind as to give me a setup walk-through? At least as far as downloading the latest beta/which options to pass to the setup program?

Thanks again!

Ok here you go:

Download from here: http://www.find-a-drug.org/download.html

or from a text prompt, do : wget http://www.find-a-drug.org/fadv123c.tgz

Then the following commands:

gunzip fadv123c.tgz
tar -xf fadv123c.tar

Then configure with:

./fadsetup -nick <enter your nickname here> -team 2039 -connect "When online"

Now your setup. The best way to load the FaDs program is using the command loader like:
./loader

From the directory you made.

Note... After you start it, let it be for 15 - 30 minutes, it will update.

Then you can check it by doing:

./server -list

If you have more questions let me know.
