Thanks for the stats Silverthorne!

The hordes are enduring some outages as they get back up to speed. I expect the problems to be resolved within a week. About 30 nodes went offline for about 18 hours.

I am implementing a permanent and low maintenance solution to client distribution and maintenance. More on that later. I am having some success distributing and setting up the clients via Group Policy. Very Cool because I only need to touch the Group Policy, not each computer.

Keep 'em crunchin'!

P.S. Does anyone care to hear about the status of the hordes? I haven't read any responses for a many threads. Unless my TeAM mates help me out with a little enthusiasm ... I need TeAM as much as TeAM, hopefully, needs me. At the present, the level of enthusiasm ... well ... it is underwhelming. One of these days, I hope to be a "major player" but in the meantime, I do need a bit of reassurance that I still do the right thing.

I'm absolutely interested in the status of the Hordes! I just wish that I have good news to report concerning my decimated ranks! I do plan on setting up the new server this weekend sometime... have to take one of the herd to my son in college because his died... doing that today... bye bye P4-2.8 🙁 If I can get his C-2.2 running again, it will be added back into the herd! 🙂
 
I've got the server running on my network... going to set up the redirects through the router this weekend, but I think it will have to be on a port other than 80 since Adelphia won't let any traffic through on that port... I'll try 8080, but if they're smare 🙂roll😉 they'll have blocked that one too. Once I have a test page up, I'll post the IP here to see if you guys can hit it. If you can, I'll start configuring this server as the new stats server and retire the other one 🙂
