Hello all,

Iv been out of the loop for a while as you can tell from my FaD stats. Anyways, I was wondering if it would be worth while to setup a OLD dual pentium Pro system with two 200Mhz cpus? Does FaD have any all in one bootable linux setups? Id rather not have to install a HD along with win2k just to run the client. Aslo, what would be the fastest project for it to work on?

Perhaps if enough of you think it be worth it, I'll see about getting a pair of P2 overdrives (333mhz) to run instead.
 
Sorry, my thoughts would be it wouldnt probably help, at those speeds, it would take longer to complete than the 10 day process limit the have.

There is no 10 day process limit in FaD!!! I routinely have Jobs that run for most of a month or so ... check my stats recently ... you will see some very very long running jobs.

But I agree with Dringdahl that it would be slow and have such a low CPU rating that it isn't worth running because of the electricity costs!!!!
