FaD Question....

I just had a machine that's been working for about 30 hours on a job ... had about 400 hits at 90%... just looked at it again and now it's marked failed with 0 hits.... what's with that? :(

Sorry I can not help directly. I would reccomend posting the problem in the FaD boards though. They will probably want the message from your .tlg for the relevant time period. They are usually fairly responsive and knowledgeable.

The good news, I hope, is that I personally have only had a couple failed jobs in the 11 months I have been on FaD w/ approx. 10 computers.

If it makes you feel any better I've yet to have that happen on any of the 5 machines I have running FaD
( Looks like I'm going to have to find some more machines for this project soon )

There was a brief spate awhile back where I had several failed jobs, losing days of computations. They fixed whatever it was and all systems happily humming along since.

i had never had this issue until the past 4 days. with 1.25c ive gotten 5 work units corrupted and 'rejected' or quitting early :confused:
