Congrats to all the MMs and great job crunching TeAm!

Sadly, this will be the last Top-Dawg dance for me for a long while... tomorrow the dismantling of the herd begins. 🙁 Fortunately, I know they're all going to good homes 🙂

Congrats Geoff...way to end the herd with a bang...I am sure this will be a temporary lull in your DC career 😉

Thanks for the stats as always and keep us updated on your job prospects

I know someday you'll be back Geoff. We GREATLY appreciate your contribution to the TeAm not only in points and stats pages, but for being a dedicated TA member! 😀

Thanks Geoff! 🙂

I am hopeful that, you will continue to crunch FaD in whatever capacity that you can manage. As things go, some folks ebb and some folks flow. I've had my ups and downs. Let us all pray and hope that you find great fortune and satisfaction with life and, please, keep in touch no matter what happens.

You are and always have been a great teammate
Geoffs. 😛

I hope everything works out for you as well

Geoff,
I have not monitored this forum for several weeks, now i'm reading that you quit DC.
I am really sorry to see you leave. I ll miss your good humourous comments (and prob. your good stats).
Have a lot of luck for whatever you've to do.

PurpleBear...he is not quitting DC...just scaling back to a few personal computers...some personal things going on in his life...don't worry, I am sure we haven't seen the last of Geoff's formidable herd.

I believe his stats will stay around...might be at a new host though

Slatzman,
Thanks for the explanation.
Still feel sorry for Geoff, but sh*t happens in life, i guess.
Everybody has to carry his own cross.

🙂 Changing jobs and most of my herd lives in empty offices at work.... if I brought 20 PCs home to run in the basement, my wife would chop off my nuts... so... selling them off, buying a couple of nice LCDs for home... maybe collapse a few of them into dual CPU machines... I'll do everything I can to keep the stats server up and running and will keep you all posted.

Thanks for dropping by PurpleBear and thanks to all my TeAm-mates for the support! You guys are the best!

Geoff is always welcome in the RA which he is already a part of in both seti and tsc. He is trying to better his personal life which is much more important then this.

Don't worry, Geoff....I think most of the machines you're giving up are going to continue to crunch 🙂

Hopefully a lot of FaDders, too....looks like DPC has picked up about 100 members this weekend! Where do they recruit all those people?!?!? 😕

Huh, you own 20 comps. from your work?
Thanks for the stats server; used it regularly, but if it's in the way, i prefer you bring it down.

btw, most of the new members came from fok.nl (its kind of aol.com for teenagers), we finally got a FP over there and they are starting their own (sub)team inside DPC.
most of DPC members are between 14-25 year (unlike me, i'm a full generation older).

I *owned* 20 PCs that were running in my workplace... management didn't seem to mind, so I just kept taking over empty spaces in our office with more PCs that I built 🙂 They were not company PCs... all my output has always been just on PCs that I've owned, with a couple of rare exceptions.

I don't think I'll have to bring the server down for long. My ISP at home blocks port 80 traffic, even for business accounts, but my DNS provider has a redirection option... when you type in fad.tastats.com, the DNS will reroute to a different port to my IP (like 8080), so the person using the stats won't have to... going to have to experiment with that.
