I don't think Dad messed up. According to yesterday's thread FaD will eventually put it in your account. I double/triple checked the setup so I don't know what else to do but wait.

LOL, 'new machine' = Celeron 2.0, MS 6526 mobo, i845 GL with bad power supply found in the trash. That will team up with another dumpster found Celeron Taulatin 1.2 eMachine that just needed a hard drive. It's now running WinXP/FaD with an old found 4 gig hdd.

Hey, there's treasure in the trash. Looks like the Cel 2.0 will crank out about 25,000 points/month. Don't know about the Cel 1.2 yet -- it may not be worth running. Jeez, I'm spending about $50/month in electricity to run 7 PCs.

In communities that have to put their trash out to the curb it's not unusual to see PCs, cases, monitors and/or keyboards set out for pickup. Most of the PCs are AT cases, but in the batch of 4 that my bro-in-law picked up for me 3 of them where ATX. I guess new PCs are so cheap now that people just throw em out when they get mucked up.

The county where I live no longer picks up electronic junk so I'm not seeing any PCs at the curb anymore. However a woman I know told me that her church had over 200 donated PCs that they wanted to get rid of. Prob a good source for wu crunchers but my cup already runeth over, lol.

Ahhhh....IC. I thought it was hosed from that installation copy, no prob.

My Dad (emjem) is a dedicated cruncher, without him I my FaD output wouldn't be near what it is....nor would have been my SETI.
