FAD: I'm calling you out BCinSC!

It looks like we are the only active members that are doing much producing for the Find-A-Drug TeAm so I'm calling you out. My new goal for the project is to pass you and hopefully to do it before either of us reach #5 on the TeAm.

So will you answer this challenge?

(all in good fun🙂)

Ive been crunching it for a long time, but my poor little PIII 800 doesnt give up many in a week. A TEAM THUNDER is kinda quiet.. 😛

You're on! I've turned all my machines onto this project. Shing Wong climbed quickly, but only posted one job this week. Da Dark Warlord also piped in 2 jobs this week. Top Cruncher, Ranzou, posted plenty, but we'll catch him. The rest of the redlight members need to come back to FaD! New recruits welcome!!!

And John, a P3/800 smokes most of my systems - heck, I've even got a classic pentium 166 (non-mmx) with Win95 on it - keep on crunching.

Alright I have a willing victim....uhh...participant.😀 Now where did I put that XP 2500+...😉

All I have to say is Ranzou had better look out.

Mastertech: I'm glad to finally figure out who A TEAM THUNDER is. It was fun passing you this week.😉

Eh, you only passed me because they completely redid the scoring and I lost all the scoring for all those jobs completed. When you match my jobs completed I will concede defeat... 😛

If this dang job would ever finish on my laptop: 1qb0-q1 m4067 crunching 11.5 days now with 413 hits and 93.08% complete.

Ive had more than a few like that.

Ok I'll be sure to let you know.

Keep an eye on the stats

Ah so you know abou the 3 jobs that I have completed that aren't posted yet?😉 One was of the variety that you described, it took about 4 days or so on a XP 1800+.

I like starting a new project. Everything is fresh and fun again.🙂

Got 12 running. Here are some CPU ratings:
P2/333=27 (PPro OD x2)
P2/366=29 (laptop)
P2/400=32 (x2)
C2/466=35
P3/450=39 (oc'd to 500)
P3/667=52 (x2)
P3/933=76
P3/1.1=100 (oc'd to 1215)
P4/2.4=140

Sometime this weekend, I'll get 5 PPro 200's working, though their rating may only be 20 or so. Also have 2 classic pentium 200 systems and a Cel366. Hey, got a 386DX33 sitting here too

Does OS matter? I've got a mix of Win95/98/2000, even 2003 on P4, going. I kill all non-essential windows services and max the job info windows. Graphics and Queue windows are always hidden. Anything else to max performance/crunching?

I don't think OS matters too much as long as you have the winsock thingy installed in Windows 95 (won't run without it).

So how exactly are points figured? It seems like it relates to the amount of hits in a job?

Oy! The PPro 200's are only rated at 16! That sux for what was once a $1000 CPU. Should have the OD CPUs in soon.

Cranking away. How about you? My biggest problem now is that I've run out of ports on my switch. Will have to buy another or sneaker-net the extra machines.

Maybe I'm cranking away and maybe not.😉

Thanks for the info on the points. It is good to know that as long as it is running the points will be consistent.

OH!!! And he passes the mighty Shing Wong and lands in the top ten!! I knew these old, rusty, dust collectors would come in handy. Can't wait to see the electric bill.

Yes, it is good to see that the TeAm is now on pace to gain some ground in the standing. We still need plenty of help though so don't be afraid to join up.

BTW I'm now way out in the lead.😉 Look out #1 here I come!

And I am still trying to finish my first WU 😀
70% of work done, 39 hits so far !! //Is it good or bad result ?? I mean number of hits... Not time :/

Got order happy last night and picked up a P4HT/2.4/800 and three P4/2.53/533's. Couldn't pass up the deals from Dell. Wish I could find a good AMD deal, Barton, 64, or Opteron.
