The RA reached 39th in this project last night but it looks like furballexpress will knock us back down to 40th in the next day or so.

It really shows when one of my hordes goes offline ...

Won't be back until Tuesday late (at least) ... mobo and PSU heading in for the server.

I am considering moving the local horde that is affected over to BOINC and just being down with it ...

Rosetta and/or SETI ....

it seems like they don't have a really good plan on shutting the project down. i thought they might stop sending out new work a few days before shut down, but now it appears that you will download a program to stop the client sometime after friday, although I am confused over whether the server will still accept work after friday.

Time to switch the slow box over to rosetta.

This is from the FAD forum.

"The uninstall update will be downloaded when your PC needs more jobs. At that time the software will be uninstalled. The uninstall update will be available approximately 11:00 GMT on Friday 16 December. We anticipate that it will be at least 2-3 days before most of the uninstalls have completed."
