Factory firmware that has MORE features than DD-WRT?

Seems like it. I was just browsing the user manual PDF for my PremierTek PT-AP-1W, Realtek chipset, and it seems like it has nearly everything.

The stock factory firmware of Dlink, Linksys, Netgear, etc., should be ASHAMED for their lack of features. Thankfully, we have DD-WRT for many of those to remedy the problem, but this Realtek setup might have it beat.

Edit: And yes, this is one of the four routers that I've purchased in the last approx two weeks.

DD-WRT's features don't always work, at least new builds on new Atheros stuff. It's one giant bugfest.

Unfortunately, I put DD-WRT on my new router before testing Buffalo's stock firmware and flashing it back is something of a huge pain so I haven't done it yet.
