Fact or Crap? Does setting these two bcdedit to True for Win7/8 improve gaming?

Been Googling about this. The answers seem rather mixed....

If you run Command Prompt in Admin mode and type in these two commands:

bcdedit /set useplatformclock true (First make sure HPET/ACPI is enabled in BIOS)

&

bcdedit /set disabledynamictick true

then reboot

It can help reduce Latency? (Some cases may do the opposite too)

This worth tweaking or leaving them both on False?

I wouldn't recommend messing around with critical system settings unless you absolutely know what you're doing.

To be honest I do not know either, but according to MSDN they should only be used for debugging, and usually would not enabling something for debugging incur more latency ranter then reduce it

plus the 2nd one only works on 8/2k12
