Mother prarie dogs will nurse their young only while underground in the safety of the burrow. If an infant tries to suckle above ground, the mother will slap it.

The keyboard layout on modern day keyboards was first made to make you type SLOWER, because back in the day when the layout was being developed, a different, more efficient layout was used, but because people were typing too fast on them, the typewriters kept jamming, thus the invention of the current keyboard layout.

The modern-day military salute is a tradition carried over from Medevil times when Knights wore armor suits w/the helmet that had a steel visor on it. It was customary and polite to raise your visor when passing by another individual to say hello and show that you were friend, not foe.

The modern-day soldier doesn't wear an armor helmet with a visor, but we raise the hand up to eye-level just the same way you would if lifting the visor from in front of your eyes. Really. :)
