Faces of meth

what the fuck? do you feel better about yourself after posting that? jfc

If you feel that strongly about that woman I can message you the jails address and you can be her pen pal. Perhaps you can send her money for the commissary or set up a conjugal visit.

yikes

i had a distant relative who tried that stuff, but mainly took other things

he OD'd not too long ago. i think one of the fentanyl batches got him.

his family had disowned him for repeatedly stealing their money and possessions to buy drugs decades earlier

he was dead to everyone who knew him long before he actually died.

semi-related: they've started using narcan to save people who OD in nearby rural areas.

one guy just needed twelve doses of narcan, but it saved his life.

about half of people think it is a good thing, but the other half despise the idea. they say that it's a waste of money and it is best to let OD'ers die.

the facebook arguments are something to behold, they honestly put most P&N arguments to shame!

I’ve heard rumors of paramedics driving around with homes less OD victims so they pass. One way to curb the homeless population and save the hospital a few bucks 🤷‍♂️

eh they're probably joking, a few of my friends are EMTs and it warps their sense of humor super dark lol... but you never know

not sure what to do about the homeless population, the US is never going back to a model where there are asylums for those people.

living in a rural area where it gets very cold is one way to mostly avoid them.

whenever one homeless person manages to wander to my nearest town, the facebook group is flooded with posts warning everyone else about them

*and that's why I don't use idiotbook. A bunch of dumbasses that can barely dress themselves giving their stupid opinions on stuff people train for years to be good at.

edit:
*One of the reasons anyway. I'm always against spyware. I've spent my computing life avoiding it, and I'm certainly not gonna voluntarily install any.

They built the pyramids and all of the soaring medieval gothic cathedrals. Nothing, I say, nothing is beyond their reach.

I'm just waiting for their long lost treasures to be rediscovered on Oak Island. And it's going to happen. Maybe not this year or next but eventually, they're going excavate that money pit all the way down to the bedrock.

i know people irl who ended up in no-tolerance mindset re: drugs. and to a degree, i can understand how they arrived at that viewpoint. when someone they loved kept stealing from them constantly, robbing stores, getting arrested, going to jail, getting out only to do it all over again, and eventually ended up as a drug-controlled husk of what they used to be, these people realized their lives would be better without that happening anymore. and the only way that stopped happening was when the person overdosed.

but get those people in a facebook post with a bunch of people who disagree, and it's like you're watching a bunch of rabid wolverines fight each other.

Saw such similar faces maybe 10-15 years ago googling drug addiction. I forgot if it was related to a school project or not. The website something related to informing about the addiction and helping addicts, I guess. So long ago, I obviously forgot the name of the site.
