Signed up today....

....5 hours later one of my best friends from HS messages me...I had such a crush on her but I'll leave that for another neff....

To say the least, I am elated...I thought I had lost contact with EVERYONE.

I love facebook. I signed up just a week ago and already met a few friends from middle school. Going to go catch a movie with them. :beer:

I have to say that Facebook is a lot better than any other social networking site, the number one reason being that HTML is not accepted.

I noticed that...that and the 'friends' I've made on myspace are too far out for me. I like the real kind that you can squeeze.

ya, once you get out of that online social-networking taboo thing, then it's a really nice tool to get in contact w/ lost friends and plan stuff.

all the college kids who had facebook 3 years ago think its full of crap..

i guess all the HSers are like OMFG SO COOL as if they had a cooler version of Myspace finally, and I guess everyone else thinks its cool too, but all us college kids who are elitists think that this is lame because now the rest of the world gets to use it and no longer is it an elite educated community

i just joined it tonight to see what all the hype is about. meh...
why can't i see people pages or whatever?

anyway, i did find the sister of one of my best friends in HS. i haven't seen or heard from him in years. I believe he joined the Navy. I sent her a message asking whats up.

I hope he didn't die or anything. I'll feel really bad for bringing it up (well, that and because he was a good friend.)
