Okay, under privacy settings for my basic info, for example, i have:

only friends
all of my networks
-limited profile

So what the hell is actually being limited here? If only friends can see it, then can all of my networks too? Surely this is redundant. So can anyone see my basic info? ehh

thanks

I think your friends can see your profile, and your network can see a limited profile...

This isn't FacebookHelp.com. Facebook have a FAQ. They also have a help section.

I'm having a hard time figuring out what you're talking about. You can set each part of your home page to be viewed by only friends or everybody or only certain networks. It's your choice how much people not on your friends list can see.

well it had "only friends" as well as "all of my networks" enabled, as well as -limited profile.

So does this mean only my friends, AS WELL AS all of my networks, minus whoever is on limited profile can see this information?

I've always wondered about some of those idiotic applications - "agreeing will allow the <...> application to access all of your data and pictures and your friends data and pictures that it needs to operate." WTF??! Is the purpose of all those applications simply creative ways to get people to agree to giving up their personal data, aka data mining?

Yeah, I think that's what it is.

Anyone in your network(s)
+ friends in other networks
- friends you specifically ban
