This morning I went to read my NY Times online and found that every time I click to go to another page, or to Go Back, I get the popup from Facebook that comes up when I have started to enter a comment and then click to leave the page without submitting it
"This page is asking you to confirm that you want to leave - data you have entered may not be saved"
NY Times is the only website that gets the problem [that I have found so far] but it's my daily news. So this is a big pain.
And it doesnt happen in IE, so there is something somewhere in Firefox that Facebook has misplaced something, some setting or piece of code, and left it there for me to trip up on. It also doesnt matter if I am logged in to Facebook or not.
Anyone know the internal workings of this so I can get rid of it? I'm a software engineer with at least some understanding of web stuff, but no idea on this one.
I tried the Facebook community question page and a few people have had it, but no one had an answer. The Facebook Help person suggested logging a problem ticket but the others on that thread just mocked that idea. "You'll never hear from anyone."
I've attached a screenshot, from just having clicked to go to an article.
