A potential gold digger? This guy seems different and doesn't seem to care for such things (driving modest car).

I'd compare him to the likes of Bill Gates (family/value-wise, maybe minus some of the charity - let's just say the nerdiness) than some douchebag whom landed on a fortune, then needed hookers and blow every night.

operating cash flow is $1 billion.

Whoever thinks this is a $100 billion company is a fucking moron.

They have a monopoly on 1/3 of the humans in the US and God knows how many around the world and will eventually have a monopoly on all web traffic of course it's worth $100 billion. One day they will have enough content that Google will be useless.

What do you think is worth more to an advertiser? 10 kids in college or 15 people who are 55?

Who is worth more to an advertiser, 10 Americans or 20 Bulgarians?

Even though the user base is technically growing, it is not with desirables from an advertising standpoint.

I don't think you understand advertising. I can guarantee you the average 55 year old......hell the average 55 year old BULGARIAN earns more per year and has more free cash flow than the average college kid. They would be very valuable to companies that sell to that demographic.

College kids have no income or very small fixed income

Don't bother arguing with him, he has no idea what he is talking about.

That's the whole point of Facebook - extremely targeted advertising or extremely broad advertising. You can go on there today and put an ad up for your product and make sure it only hits who you want, let's say - 40 year old single women from texas with over 500+ "friends" and who like Michael Jackson. Or, you can just do 40 year old women and it will display your ad accordingly.

Face it, Zuckerberg won and I don't see Facebook going away like myspace, etc. In fact, I would say it's a solid investment when it goes public. Zuckerberg knows what he is doing as CEO...and is obviously not in it for the money.

"Zuckerberg" has manboobs.
Bigger than any woman.
They are barely human.
They sag real low.
.....

Am I the only one that remembers that internet meme from over 10 years ago?

Yes. But don't worry I'm sure some advertiser is looking for mememberers too.

If only he'd achieved this success without systematically screwing over ordinary people, constantly misappropriating private data, and without having to issue a steady stream of halfhearted apologies to aggrieved user.
Thats how you make money. Screwing people over

Never been to Bulgaria huh? Average wage is $450 a month. Minimum wage is $175/mo.

Even accounting for differences in cost of living, ain't much spending cash left out of that. A student here could pull more working at starbucks on saturdays.
