Fable 3 coming to PCs by Xmas

I'm pleased about this. I liked Fable quite a bit and was disappointed about FableII not making the transition to PC.

Fable: The Lost Chapters was great but Fable II I was kind of disappointed.

Noow with the 3 coming out on PC, just can't wait!

Fable was kind of meh, like Baby's First Role-Playing Game, but strangely with sex and stuff. Fable 2 looked alright but we never got it. Trying to decide if I should get interested in Fable 3 or not.

I liked Fable 2. I only rented it and I wish I had more time with it. I tried Fable 1 on the pc but couldn't get over a few funny controls. I'll probably still get this for the 360.

I hated that guy after he over-hyped Black and White 2 so badly. The most-touted features in the game weren't even there (customizable walls and huge creatures).

That must be it. MS had been doing everything it could to delay and keep games off the PC.

Haha Molyneux is just way too excited by his own thoughts for his games. He thinks of all these great ideas and just has to tell everyone before he actually sees if implementing them is feasible or not .

I'm glad you said this. I love RPGs. I bought this and probably put 10 hours into it, but, certainly not for lack of trying, I couldn't get into it...

I enjoyed the Fable games. The storyline was pretty good in both of them, and the fighting and use of spells made the combat interesting. I didn't like how the world was completely stuck on paths. No open-ness like oblivion.

Both Fable 1 and Fable 2 were very generic and don't really stand out as an RPGs. Both games were completely linear (I don't even think the second one had a real world map) and the combat was pretty dull. Also, the storyline/roleplaying and dialog were a little too immature for my tastes. I was able to finish Fable 1, but Fable 2 was more of the same and I couldn't stand playing it.

Open and good story are mutually exclusive.
The only exception to this is Baldurs Gate.
