Hunter: You have to set an example even in the face of stupidity. Everybody who reads comic books knows that the Kirby Silver Surfer is the only true Silver Surfer. Now am I right or wrong?

That part was sooooo written by Tarantino.

That's wack that he's become a villain...

He was basically a villain when the Fantastic Four first encountered him in the comics too. It was only through his encounter with the Fantastic Four and a friend of F4 that he rebelled against Galactus.

Judging by the teaser trailer, it looks like the movie will follow that storyline.

S. Surfer did not go through sh!t from what I remember in the comics. He had super speed though.

From Wikipedia not me:

Additionally, he can phase his body's molecules to pass through solid matter or energy.

He is strong and fast:

The Surfer possesses superhuman strength. Additionally, the Surfer can use the Power Cosmic to amplify his physical strength to a level at least rivaling that of an enraged Hulk. In addition, his body can move and react at superhuman velocities; he routinely navigates asteroid fields and attacks entire armadas of starships at or beyond the speed of light while maintaining surgical precision.

Whenever I see that title, I think of the alternate definition... From Urban Dictionary:

"Someone who is over 50 who uses the Internet, silver meaning the colour of hair commonly associated with the over 50s."

That would be a messed up superhero film.

Basically show's what a retard Tarantino is. Coming up with some obscure reference just for obscurity's sake. Why would comic geeks have a discussion about "Moebius Surfer", when there were only two Surfer comics by Moebius? And pretty much all of the several hundred remaining Surfer comics are based on Kirby's Surfer?
