I've been playing LoTRO since beta. Its for the most part the same as it was before. I primarily pvmp on creep side which f2per's currently can't do, so I'll say I don't see much of them anyways, but even on my freep, I don't notice anything different.
Heck I even started leveling a Gaurd on one of the brand new servers Riddermark and didn't notice any difference.
I do COMPLETELY agree with you on games for $60. I have never purchased one of these titles and don't ever plan on it. I buy pc games around the $40 price range, if I miss a deal or something on a new release then to bad for me, I wait it out. I sub to lotro quarterly so its only $30 for 3 months.
