F250 acting up :(

Am getting a "service engine soon" nag and it's running rough.

There's a local guy that's a diesel guru that gave me a heads up on how particular my truck is about batteries a few months ago, am gonna let him figure out what the hell is up.

I swapped out the fuel filter and drained the fuel water seperator, and my code scanner isn't even connecting to the ECU 🙁

Took it to Vato Zone & tried their scanner too, same results.

Sounds like a bad injector (But COULD be a myriad of things). Anyone you know have a high end scanner? Try disconnecing the battery for 5 minutes or so, then re-connect and take it for a ride. Then check your OBDII stuff....

Yep, I know. Was hoping it was something simple. I'll let the diesel guru work on it, he was pretty sharp when I talked to him, figured out my batteries were the culprit over the phone.

..do you have the ford shop manual?? it's worth it's weight in gold and will save time and money.
