F2 Setup Problem

My computer no longer repondes to the f2 command to go into setup while booting up. Any suggestions as to what may be the cause? I am using Winxp service package 3. Thanks

Does the computer boot if you leave it alone?

Have you tried a different keyboard? If you are using a USB keyboard, try a PS/2 keyboard if your motherboard has a PS/2 connector.

You might also remove the CMOS battery, short out the CMOS jumper and then return it to its "running" position, and install a new CMOS battery. They are usually $2 or so.
