Many finally ended up going to the pits to get rain tires but those who didn't, those who thought they'd stick it out...most all of them crashed....

Also, what is very interesting is that this little 'rain storm' is only on HALF of the track....pit road and the main starigtawya are drenched while the far end of the track is PERFECTLY DRY

Something else, some of the drivers are eager to win and put their slicks back on so they could get ahead on the dry parts of the track

The moto GP race this morning was all wet too. Poor Bayliss crashed, and Capirossi had to leave due to shifter probs. My team ducati didn't do so well 🙁

Rain = the sux for racing

Yeah...no kidding...I'm sitting here wondering if Andretti got ticked at his car's performance today at Indy and flew to Europe to drive the same day...that would be nuts.

Well that was a horrible season for Andretti... that's why he left even before the season was finished. I think his best result was 3rd in Monza... he just came into the sport at the wrong time. McLaren was left with an inferior Ford engine, the cars were running with active suspension which was different from what he was used to in the US, and his team mate was Senna... 😀 ...he had more crashes during that season... you wait for the one in Imola. He crashes right in front of his own pit stand. 😀
 
Well, it wasn't for his lack of talent. He just got no testing time. Plus his idiot wife wouldn't let him move to Europe to stay with the team. He flew back and forth for every race.
