Steering speed is still too slow with my 360 controller. The wet grip has been reduced which is nice too. AI is still too slow though. DX11 looks a bit better than DX9 also.

is this game worth a pickup for someone who ejoys casual racers or is it an intense simulation?

It's def not a simulator, BUT it is not too "Arcadish" either.

I played GTR1, GTR2 and Evo a lot....and I like this game.

Yeah. I play alot of GTR2 and EVO too. It feels like Gran turismo or Forza3. Its not NFS arcade, but it is a lot more forgiving and simpler than a real sim.
