After reading this thread for a while (and watching it get derailed..) Im finally getting around to posting.

MJinZ, the wheels look pretty good on a silver car, so for that aspect I would say go for it.

Unfortunately the price seems high. I mean really, I drive a VW with an uncommon bolt pattern and got some damn nice wheels for significantly less than that. I would look around more for some cheaper/used wheels that you like

The wheels I'm on now cost me $800, so it is a significant jump in price. Good to know though about grey wheels on silver, I need to keep my eyes peeled for real ones on the road now.

It's not a huge expense though, my car was paid off a while ago. The problem now is that there isn't a car out there that I really want to shell out for as a second car. The Evora is not out yet (I can't afford it yet either), the Z4 is nice but I'd like an M version to consider, and reliability isn't clear as the model is too new, then I am waiting on refreshes for the Lexus IS and G.

Stop spunking money on your riced Camry and buy a house.

Um lol I'm not an old fart.

I'm going to Grad school soon and will be relocating across the country multiple times in the next few years.

Plus, my parents bought houses and made out like bandits. NOW? Hell no, with the economy still lying in the dirt, who the hell knows how much more the housing market will suffer.

Will you please GTFO? Some people don't know when to stop trolling. I have no problems with someone like Exdeath making fun of my car, but you're a skinny little bitch in a Civic? :hmm:

Um lol? Just about every car under the sun is faster than your 330ci. What does it do, 7 seconds to 60? :awe:

Yea you got trolled so hard! If only you hadn't trolled into this thread to begin with your 330ci! LOL, if I wanted a POS German compact that wouldn't last 2 days without being in the shop, I could have bought a 335. :awe: No honestly, I wouldn't have even bothered. I'd probably look at an IS350 or G37 if I wanted a compact.

Guess you need to do some looking. With an automatic it's in the 7 range. Manuals are at 6 seconds. Ironic considering it weighs about the same as the camry and has significantly less HP. Not to forget it gets through the quarter a touch faster and at roughly the same time. It also looks better and drives a million times better.

Also e46's and e90's, fairly reliable vehicles for the most part. Considering they are actually quite entertaining to drive I can take a few mechanical issues here and there.

--

I'm pretty sure the only reason you're on here is to try and convince yourself that your car is actually somewhat 'cool' or remotely entertaining. When in reality you bought a middle aged persons commuter vehicle. We get it, it has decent power and gets to 60 at a respectable rate, after that it falls on its face.

Yea, any non Double Clutch slushbox will incur drivetrain loss, but you already knew that?

I'm pretty sure the only reason I even mentioned my car is that people jumped on the subject. Or perhaps you really don't know how to read. :hmm:

If your going to ask about wheels then you have to mention the vehicle it's going on. Once that was mentioned basically everyone has said it's stupid to spend 2300 bucks on wheels for a camry when there will be no benefit but some potential cosmetic(if it even looks ok on a camry). Then you started off on some defensive spill again about how fast it is, which no one cares about, and are now trolling your own thread..again. Pretty sure I got the gist of it.

Wow, this thread has turned into a train wreck.

OP, just stick with replacing the wheels you already have and put the savings toward the Evora you want (which is out by the way, I've already seen two of them on the street).

I do find it ironic, that you are getting on people for "trolling" your thread.

I would checkout some forums specific to your car/generation, I'd be willing to bet somebody already has/had those wheels on a silver car. That will give you the best visual representation.

If you have the money I guess you might as well go for it, I guess I just got lucky getting a set of audi wheels for $200

If you really don't care, why are you trolling this thread?

I'm not going to make fun of anybody's car, esp a Camry because I have one and they are great cars even if they are slow.

Now that I've got some things finished with the Cobra, the Camry its going to become a project car. Anybody know of a 3rd gen 3SGTE up for grabs for less than $1500 anywhere? :awe:

That's what makes some people douchebags and others non-douchebags. The trolls know who they are.

Yea, I'm trying to find some GSes and ISes on Clublexus forums with these wheels, I would really like to see these things in person though.
