I'm brutally allergic to cats. When I was young, I had an inhaler that helped a lot, but haven't used one in years and don't know if I'd have to pay for it now. My gf has a lot of family members with cats at their house which we visit and I'm constantly getting my ass kicked from my allergies. Anyone recommend any good over the counter solutions?

Benadryl (or anything with an antihistamine in it). If you want a prescription drug, try something like Zyrtec.

I find Claratin usually does the trick for me.

Oh yeah, I forgot they approved Claritin as OTC now. Maybe give that a try.

I tried that once. It put me right to sleep and didn't really help clear up my breathing...
