I don't have an exact comparison to offer but looking at systems close to each of your examplers, I estimate you should see approximately a double.

The difference in 4600+ and 3500+ is exactly 1100+ ;)

Cool. I was hoping for double, since I believe the core speeds are the same, except I'll have two of them.

Yes, my output soared when I got dual core. Soared even more when I went from Pentium D 920 to E6600 :).

4600+ = 2x 3600+

I own a 4600+ too, it's nice, but with some projects my 1GB RAM gets a bit short ^^
