I don't run F@H myself, but in my experience whenever that happens it is due to overheating or an unstable (too high) overclock. Either that or your PSU is just barely providing enough power and the extra drain from running the CPU at full load is causing it to reset.

That is just it I'm running at stock on this system. I will run prime just to make sure system is stable.

What is your CPU temperature at idle and under load?

You should run PRIME95 and MEMTEST on the system to make sure that your CPU and RAM are both working properly.

I've got it on a W2K box with out problems. I agree with Fardringle about the heat issue or PSU do you have specs on the machine?

EDIT: Could you look in your bios and also tell us the voltage the CPU has on it?

I've run the console on Win2K also. So it is not likely an OS problem.

Is the system brand new? Or could the heatsink/fan be dusty?

How long does F@H run before the computer reboots?

Some WUs work the computer harder, what is the number of the projects WU?

PPD - 214
Total Points - 23,768

That system will add nicely to your ppd :)

3.07v ouch! I only hit 95PPD with my 2.66ghz Northwood. My AMD XP +3000 runs circles around it.
