What's the name? You can see the beta proteins here and if it isn't on that screen follow the link to the "general running projects" that appears at the top of the screen.

Hmm, I don't see anything listed in either projects page? Are you sure you didn't get a Genome@Home WU? Sometimes those slip through even though you've set your client's preference for F@H WUs. Not to worry, though, TeAm F@H still gets credit. 🙂

BTW, I'm sorry about the lack of stats, but I've been (fruitlessly) waiting on statsman's site to come back. Given that depending on statsman can sometimes be like leaning on a broken reed, I'm probably going to start developing some stats based on data taken directly from Stanford. Since they (Stanford) don't do the extra database work to keep track of weekly and monthly averages and stuff, it may take me a while to bring the stats up to what they used to be (I'm not an expert database designer, by any stretch of the imagination, so it will take me a while to figure this out). Expect something, though possibly minimal, within the next few days.

I don't think it is P_332. I got one and it is less than 8 mins per step on mine 2.6C.

I had that p336 and mine seem to be normal about 8 mins. 2500 steps seems about right.

BTW, J can you create your daily stat post from here. I know it's a bit different from statmans but if you can then I think you will have no problem in the future.

8min a step for the 332 or 336.....far out! i have one of these atm (the 336) and it is taking me 29:50 per step and thats deadicated folding, ie leaving my pc on overnight. i really need a new cpu.
i cant believe that, no wonder i cant keep up in the stats :brokenheart:

As I have posted before (Probably not your problem) if your computer reboots via an error, when it restarts it will take forever to complete a WU that has already been started. However, in my recent attempts to get my P4C 2.4 to 3.5gig I was getting rebooted frwuently. I found that If I do a normal shutdown afterwords the WU times come back down to normal. Another solution (If you don't have too many steps completed) is to delete the work folder and restart.

On another note, last week I had a WU that gave me 70pts.

All I can say about those times is it is time for a P4C.... 😉

I have a p4 2.4c sitting in the next room...my dad just wont let me get on it, otherwise it would be folding for the team.

Orion, thanks for the suggestion, but even from a clean boot it is taking 29mins a frame. I guess the Athlon classic just wasnt cut out for folding.

Similar experience with slowed WUs and a re-boot speeding them back up.

My slowdowns seem to be due to the kids playing CounterStrike. If they don't boot when they are done, I will see 8 minute steps increase to 20 or 20 minutes.

I realize this is not your thing since you said you did re-boot, but maybe it will help others.
